Working directly among Zest & Bloom’s organic citrus groves, the Orchard Field Technician supports tree health through hands-on care. This role follows the natural agricultural cycle—from spring blossoms to winter harvest.
Responsibilities

Perform pruning, thinning, and canopy shaping to improve fruit quality

Monitor soil moisture levels and adjust manual or automated irrigation valves

Identify early signs of pests or nutrient deficiencies (leaf spots, curling, discoloration)

Spread organic mulch and compost blends to support soil biodiversity

Assist with installation and repair of drip irrigation lines

Clean and prepare grove pathways for seasonal machinery
Requirements

Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and uneven terrain

Awareness of environmental care and organic practices (training provided)
